SINOPSIS:
An unidentified object fell suburban Las Vegas, the US government quickly shut down the area where falling objects, suspected it was a UFO. Investigations carried out, and the traces found it was concluded that the spacecraft, but the crew of the aircraft had been able to escape before the military closed it. Traces of radioactive, but strangely traces of it are traces of teen aged children. The hunt was carried out by the government.
Elsewhere, Jack Bruno (Dwayne Johnson) is a taxi driver, was delivering a life space researcher Dr. Alex Friedman (Carla Gugino) who will be a speaker in a seminar about the possibility of another planet than Earth life. Within days of broadcast television news filled with stories about the fall of UFO, Jack thinks everyone is crazy, until finally there was a passenger strange that suddenly appears in place sits behind the cab, both still young age, and claimed named Sara (AnnaSophia Robb) and Seth (Alexander Ludwig). Both ask Jack to take her to a place, Jack initially wondered if they seriously, but because it was shown segebok money, he finally spur the spirit takisnya. On the way Jack, Sara and Seth pursued by several cars, Jack thinks that they are the boss men who are having problems with it, so far as possible Jack escape, when in fact they are not chasing Jack but the children's space.
During the trip, Jack amazement with two passengers, weird equipment they wear, the ability of Seth were able to disappear, and Sara were able to control objects. Finally Sara and Seth explained that they had a special mission on the planet, but again Jack disbelief and forget about the anomalies he had seen.
After the escape from the government, they arrived at the destination, the place is barren and very spacious, and there is one building that houses looked old and not inhabited for years. He dropped two passengers, Sara pay him with money that far exceeds the value that is in a metered taxi. Sara and Seth rushed in, while Jack outside and still holds a lot of money. Jack wondered, also anxiety to the children, because the place it seemed there was no one. Jack finally went inside and found two strange place, then Jack believed everything said Sara and Seth.
Suddenly an explosion occurred, a fire of unknown creature, a sort of Robocop, laser firing relentlessly towards them, while they dodge, Sara explains it is a robot that dipgrogram to hunt, to thwart his mission. Finally the three of them managed to escape, re-use taxis Jack. Now they are hunted by the two parties, one by one by the federal government hunters, so that now the exciting action adventure and Jack increasingly dangerous and stressful.
Sara and Seth tells Jack that they both have to find a plane to return to their planet, therefore Jack remembered Dr. Alex who might help. Dr. Alex, who initially did not believe become confident and passionate to help them thanks to a tool that showed their miraculous planet. Four of them were more exciting adventure when it finds a spaceship, Dr. alex and Jack participated in it for the pursuit of the hunter and the government.
